Materials needed:
17 oz Black worsted weight yarn
8 oz light pink worsted weight yarn
8 oz medium Piink of worsted weight yarn of
8 oz dark pink worsted weight yarn of
8 oz green worsted weight yarn of
8 oz medium green worsted weight yarn
8 oz dark green worsted weight yarn of
8 oz of worsted weight purple thread clear of
8 oz purple medium worsted weight yarn
8 dark purple oz worsted weight yarn
8 oz blue light worsted weight yarn
8 oz blue medium worsted weight yarn
44 oz blue dark worseted weight of the thread
size "G" crochet, or size than the gauge needle

Note: we used wool yarn in the colors specified in each project. It is composed of simple squares. Ch 4, join with a sl st to first chain to form a ring
RND 1: Ch 3, 2 pb in the ring, cap 1, (3 pb in ring, ch 1) 3 times, join with pd at the beginning of the ch start 3.
RND 2: 3 cad, in turn, 2 pb in the first cap 1 sp, cap 1, 3 cd in same ch 1 sp, 1 cap (3-pb, 1 cad, 3 cd) in the remaining 3 ch 1 sps, 1 cap, joined with pd at the beginning of the ch start 3, end, weave in loose ends
Border
RND 1: with dark blue thread join with a sl st to any corner ch 1 sp, SC around, work3 pb in each corner ch 1 sp, join the first pb with pd to join
RND 2: 3 cad, in turn, pb in every pb around, work 3 pb in each corner, join with pdat the beginning of the ch start 3 to join
RND 3: Ch 1, turn, each pb pb around, work 3 pb in each corner, join with DP first pb to join.
DAN 4 & 5: repeat RND 2 and 3 once, end, weave in loose ends.
