How to Crochet A Baby Blanket: ribbon

You know that story when someone announces that they are expecting a baby, and then someone in the family already starts to knit ?! This is not unusual, and the technique used may not be exactly the knitting, but the crochet. So if you are the one who already prepares the needles to get the job done before the baby arrives, today there are models, graphics and recipes for baby crochet blanket. After all, every little baby needs some blankets, and nothing more delicate than a piece made from a manual work, such as crochet. For those who are looking for a type of stitch for the crochet baby blanket, one of the possibilities of stitches is this model, which can follow the traditional version or be embossed, leaving it with more volume.

➦ Materials needed for the Blanket.

Line used Red Heart
H size hook
Tape size that was used was 5/8 "or 15mm wide

I start my squares with a 6-string and a decent sized tail. In this way, it is easier to start then pulling the tail and weaving in which it closes and takes the starting collision.

Extras Extra tape tips.
Do 34 rounds so that the blanket would be about 3 feet wide with the edge.
Buy some more centimeters of tape to avoid missing.

➦ Step by step to make your square baby blanket from Grandma's ribbon.
Do not connect wire, just continue with the gray. Ch 1, sc at the same st as joining then sc at each st. Put 3 sc in the corner space. Sl st in first sc.

Ch 5, * jump 1 st, then tc (triple crochet) on the next st, ch 1 * around. Cantos: At the 2nd sc of the 3sc corner do * tc, ch 1, tc, ch 1, tc, ch 1 * then skip a st and continue below the line. This is the round where you will weave on your tape later.

Ch 1, sc at the same st as joining then sc at each tc and each ch space 1. Channels: Place 3 sc at the tc corner (the second tc in the corner grouping). Sl st at first sc and cut and tie the yarn.

Now using pink join on the second st of any of the previous round corner grouping. Ch 3, (2 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) at the same st as joining. Jump 1 st, * dc on next, jump 2 st then (3dc, ch 1, 3dc) on the next st, jump 2 st * around. Corners: When you get to the corners though, you will only jump 1 st instead of 2. Sl st up from top ch 3.

Sl st in the first two dc's and into space (just like you did for the grandmother square). Ch 3, (2 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) in the same space. * Fpdc (front post double crochet) around the dc in the middle of the groups, (3dc, ch 1, 3dc) in the next space * around. Corners: Nothing special to do in the corners for a change. Put on the top of the beginning ch 3.

Sl st in the first two dc and for space as last round. Ch 3 and make 8 dc in the same space. * Fpdc around round previous fpdc, 9 dc in ch 1 space * around. Cornets: Again, nothing special to do in the corners. Sl st at the beginning of the beginning ch 3. Bind off and weave at its ends.
